This workshop will focus on Alex's process in creating an oil painting from the beginning, starting with the photoshop comp process and proceeding into his color mixing and painting technique. Learn more about his creative and painting process from beginning to end. This is an observational and interactive class, via Zoom, from Alex’s studio. There will be a combination of demos, talks, and Q&A. You will not be expected to execute your own work during class, but will have the opportunity between classes to experiment. If we need to add a third day, that will be considered later. 

This workshop is open to all levels of artists. If you have some experience with any kind of painting, it will be helpful, but not required. This is Alex's first online workshop, and if there is demand for a more advanced course, we will offer that at a later date. A Recommended Materials List and Zoom Link will be emailed to students before the workshop begins. Classes will be recorded and available to download after the workshop ends, in case students cannot attend the live classes or for their own personal review. This will be offered to students after the workshop ends.
